my BUG-Description:

The program crashes under the following conditions:

0. CMPP v1.7.2.0 under Windows 7 64 bit
1. Comparing  files with a backslash in a C++ comment: “// foo\foo” or only “// \”. (Occured in a path string in a C++ comment.)
2. Comparing with “Ignore Comment Changes” enabled or when enabling this option (crashes both in TFS and when comparing via Explorer context menu)

Your tool look really great and promising. Especially toward smart code diff which is, IMHO, a killer feature for any developer.

I would like to know if you planned to add some of following features:
- Support of version control like Ms Team Fundation Server to be able to use Compare++ as the compare tool.
- "Smart" merge for C++/C# (to be able to use it with software like TFS too)
- Plugin support : to extend supported language, Source Control, file type, etc.

•Improve mouse-following "go to next/previous diff block" button in the middle of window;

•Fix a bug that some same lines are unaligned;
•Fix a crash when deleting some lines across more than one section;
